Over the weekend, my parents were having a conversation upstairs and at the same time I thought it would be a great idea to grab my guitar and blare my music just to mess with them. This physical noise made it hard for my parents to communicate and i later got a text to turn my music down so they could hear each other better.

In Class Mis-Communication
In class this week, Kolten and I had a conversation that involved him asking me to grab him something from “over there”. Where? There was no general direction that he was pointing, How am i supposed to know? I think this is a sign of ambiguity! With no general context or information behind his words, it is left up to my thoughts and actions to carry out his words that may or may not be right.
Class Ball Throwing Activity
This week in class, we did a ball throwing activity where we would look at someone and say their name. After we would say their name, we would throw the ball at them for them to then carry on the rest of the activity. When we were done with a few rounds of that we then moved onto a version of the activity where we were only able to make eye contact and then throw the ball. The lack of verbal communication in this part of the activity made it alot harder and it helped us learn that there is a time and place for all form of communication.
Distractions? I've never heard of those
